Description

Shore Ramp for Lifestyle Docks is 4' x 8' and connects to the shore end of the dock with a pivoting quick connect system. Perfect for accessing your dock from virtually any type of shoreline. Ramp pivots up or down to adapt to varying shoreline conditions (maximum of approximately 30 degrees from horizontal for safe use). Great for lakes and reservoirs with varying water levels. Shore Ramp frame is made of heavy aluminum and is about 3.5 inches deep, not including decking. Frame is welded with corner stiffeners. Connecting system consists of aluminum plates with bolts. Diagram graphic shows Shore Ramp with partial section of truss frame of dock (without support posts for clarity). Works with most docks. Use two 4' x4' wood drop-in panels or two 4'x4' Dock-Top poly decking sections. Select decking option. Requires drilling two holes in dock frame.

Consider adding two additional posts at the shore end of your dock to enable locating the dock further out from shore and to elevate the shore end of the dock for the ramp connection. Alternately, add a set of frame axles with wheels. Most dock packages have no support post at the end of the dock.

Nice Ramp February 18, 2010
Reviewer: Jim from Spooner, WI
I got the 8-ft shore ramp with my Lifestyle Dock package and it works great. I first got the stationary posts to support the shore end of the dock but I later added a wheel kit. This is highly recommended to make it super easy to move in and out. Also, the poly deck panels need to be fastened to the ramp to prevent shifting.
