Western Red Cedar dock deck panel is made from 5/4x6 (nominal) cedar deck boards with eased radius edge. Western red cedar is premium grade of cedar that is far superior to the yellow Asian cedar that can rot prematurely. Top side is sanded smooth and has minimal knots. Unfinished. Boards are connected with 3 wood rails corrosion resistant plated screws. Measures approximately 47-5/8" wide by 47-1/2" long. The panel fits into a space up to approximately 44-1/2" wide by 45", with the bottom connecting rails dropping below the supporting frame. Spacing to end rails is about 1-3/4" from the sides. Center rail is offset. Distance from the front/rear edge to the rails below is about 1-1/4 to 1-3/8". These bottom rails can be trimmed if necessary.

 

One cedar panel weighs approximately 35 lbs. Shipping weight is set at 40 lbs due to the dimensional size of each pre-assembled panel. This item can ship by Fedex. however, if you are ordering in quantities, it is cheaper to ship on a 4x4 pallet by common carrier. We can ship by SpeeDee LTL to MN, WI, ND, SD, IA and parts of IL and NE. SpeeDee can deliver right to your door for a pretty cheap! For other locations, we can ship by common carrier to the carrier's terminal or to a business location with a dock facility to save on shipping cost.
